Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP) recently collected old books from its staff and related units for donation to the Tin Shui Wai Community Co-operation Platform to promote reading and book recycling.  The SHKP G Power initiative includes donating used items to different organizations from time to time and encouraging staff to give used items to the needy.

SHKP promotes reading as a way to expand horizons among its staff and in the community at large. Books were collected from staff and related units in this drive, supplemented by more books and educational discs from SHKP’s training department for a community initiative by the Tin Shui Wai Community Co-operation Platform.

The community initiative encourages Tin Shui Wai residents to recycle used items in exchange for old books to save money and protect the environment. The organizer will also donate some of the books to schools in the district.
