Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP) is committed to environmental protection and promotes eco living among staff and in the community as part of the SHKP G Power initiatives.  SHKP is engaging staff and its property portfolio in a recycling drive of Chinese New Year food and gifts for the needy.  It is also working with green groups to recycle used lai see packets to encourage people to care for the environment.

Gift giving is a tradition of Chinese New Year and donating gifts to those in need is a good way to utilize resources and spread goodwill in the community.  SHKP is staging a recycling drive to collect Chinese New Year gifts from staff, residents and tenants with over 100 recycling points to promote green living and spread cheer.

In another SHKP recycling drive, people are encouraged to donate used lai see packets that are in good condition to green groups to promote reuse and reduce waste.
