Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP) recently started a new SHKP G Power website (www.shkpGpower.com) to keep the public informed of its eco initiatives. The company incorporates sustainability principles in all facets of its business, and its new SHKP G Power campaign consolidate its green efforts like a recent recycling drive in its extensive property portfolio that collected nearly 5,000 items such as Chinese New Year food and gifts for the needy.
Comprehensive eco news
The G Power site details SHKP’s environmental policy, achievements and certifications to add further transparency to the sustainability report the company recently issued. It has ‘Green Networks’ and ‘Green Terms’ pages that offer environmental news to raise public awareness and encourage green living.
Promotional site
The site also keeps people informed of SHKP’s green efforts in its residential estates, shopping malls and offices, and gets staff, customers and the public involved. Nearly 5,000 items such as Chinese New Year food and gifts were collected from staff, residents and tenants of 120 developments and given to the needy through the People's Food Bank of St. James’ Settlement and other charity groups to promote recycling and reusing.
SHKP is enlisting more people for its green efforts in an interactive, efficient way through the site and a social network page. Visit www.shkpGpower.com to see more.
