

Sun Hung Kai Properties presents 2018/19 Sustainability Report detailing latest work and achievements

Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP) is committed to engaging with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), believing the business sector has a crucial role in this vital global agenda, according to SHKP’s 2018/19 Sustainability Report, which was published today. ![]() Adhering to its belief in Building Homes with Heart, SHKP reviewed its business and sustainability approach, and identified eight SDGs to focus on to advance Hong Kong’s sustainable development. The report also detailed the Group’s other efforts and milestones to achieve sustainability in the financial year ended 30 June 2019. These efforts received notable recognition in sustainability-related indices. SHKP was named one of the top three performers among all industries in the Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index, with an ‘AAA’ rating (i.e. the top rating). As at the date of the report, it also maintains one of the top three in the Index for the second consecutive year and remains a constituent member of the FTSE4Good Global Index series of London. The Group also ranked fourth in the Hong Kong Business Sustainability Index, with a ‘Pace-setter’ rating.
